Tariq Ramadan

Tariq Ramadan is a prominent Swiss professor and writer. In 2004 Time magazine called him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
In November 2017, several people accused Ramdan of sexual misconduct. One alleged that he raped, harassed and intimidated her in 2012. Another alleged that he raped and violently assaulted her in Lyon in 2009.
Soon after, four more women alleged that he sexually harassed or had sexual relationship with them while they were his teenage pupils in the 1980s and 1990s. The ages at which he allegedly did this were as young as 14.
