Alex Kozinski
Federal Judge
Alex Kozinski is a United States Circuit judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. From 2007 through 2014, he was the Chief Judge on that court. He is a prominent figure known for his “colorful” opinions.
In December 2017, six women accused Kozinski of inappropriate sexual behavior while they worked for him. Two of them were former clerks who alleged that Kozinki asked them to view pornography in his chambers. Others described inappropriate sexual comments and conversations.
Later in December 2017, 9 additional women accused Kozinski of harassment.
On December 18, Kozinski announced his retirement in the wake of the allegations.
