Dustin Hoffman is a well-known actor known for roles in movies such as The Graduate, Rain Man, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Meet the Fockers.

In November 2017, a woman accused Hoffman of groping and sexually harassing her while they worked a TV movie in 1985, when the woman was 17 years old.

In December 2017, a second woman accused Hoffman of harassment during the production of a play in 1984, saying that he exposed her breasts to members of the crew and groped her many times.

Later in December 2017, three additional women accused Hoffman of sexual harassment and assault. They included a 16-year-old girl who said that Hoffman exposed himself to her in 1980, a young woman who alleged that Hoffman inserted his fingers into her vagina while she recorded audio for the movie Ishtar, and a woman who had an unwanted sexual encounter with Hoffman in a car in the 1980s.
