Alleged Victim Gender:
Female
Political Party:

Eric Adams, a former NYPD transit officer and police captain, served as Brooklyn Borough President and a New York State Senator before being elected the 110th Mayor of New York City in 2021.

In November 2023, Lorna Beach‑Mathura, a former administrative aide in the NYC Transit Police, filed a civil lawsuit under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, accusing Adams of sexually assaulting her in 1993. She claims that while he drove her home from work, he pulled into a remote lot, exposed himself, demanded sexual favors, forced her hand onto his genitals, and ejaculated on her.

Adams has denied the accusations, saying that he does not even recall meeting his accuser.
