John Hockenberry

John Hockenberry is a journalist, author and radio personality.  He is probably best known for his time as host of PRI’s The Takeaway.

In December 2017, several accusations of sexual harassment were made against Hockenberry during his time at The Takeaway. The allegations included sexually-explicit notes sent to subordinates through social media. Hockenberry apologized saying, “my behavior was not always appropriate and I’m sorry.”
