Television Personality, Activist
Josh Duggar was best known for appearing on the television program 19 Kids and Counting. Later he worked for the presidential campaign of Mike Huckabee and served as Executive Director of FRC Action, a lobbying organization connected to the Family Research Council.
In 2015, a woman accused Duggar of violently assaulting her during a course of an initially consensual sexual encounter in exchange for money. She alleged that he choked and spit on her and complained that he was being too rough. In 2016 the accuser dropped her lawsuit against Duggar, saying that she acknowledged likely lacking the evidence to win the case.
