Matt Schlapp
Matt Schlapp is the chairman of the American Conservative Union and a prominent conservative political operative.
In January 2023, a male staffer from the Herschel Walker Senate campaign sued Schlapp, alleging that in October 2022, Schlapp groped his groin during a car ride from a bar to a hotel in Georgia and later invited him up to his room. Schlapp denied the allegations.
Additional claims about earlier involving inappropriate touching at CPAC events and bars in 2022 and 2017 surfaced in December 2023.
In 2024, the suit against Schlapp was dropped.
