Neil Goldschmidt

Neil Goldschmidt is a former businessman and politician. He served as the governor of Oregon from 1987-1991, the U.S. Secretary of Transportation from 1979-1981, and the mayor of Portland, Oregon from 1973-1979.
In 2004, a woman alleged that Goldschmidt had started a months-long sexual relationship with her during the mid-1970s, when she was 13 years old. Goldschmidt confirmed the woman’s account, although he stated that she was 14 years old at the time.
