Michael Arrington is a writer, editor and entrepreneur best known for founding TechCrunch, a publication that covers the tech world generally and the start-up scene specifically.

In 2013, a former girlfriend accused Arrington of rape and sexual abuse. Arrington denied the allegations and accused the women of being jealous of his new, stable relationship.  He also filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman.  The women recanted the allegations and Arrington dropped the suit.
